Weston is a Pirate

Or a football player, or a star wars scary guy. It looks like he has been beat up somehow though. On Tuesday, he was on the futon (he says he wasn't jumping...) and somehow landed head first on the corner of the futon--hard. And it took five stitches to put him back together. It was a traumatic experience--so much blood. And he was scared of what they were going to do to him. He went ballistic when they tried to put numbing ointment on him! But, we got him calmed down--a bribe of a VERY expensive Star Wars toy helped... and he was nice and calm for the stitches. And now he is healing slowly. Since we will be in Lake Powell at the time the stitches should come out, we probably have to take them out ourselves... Am I strong enough to do something like that??? Probably not. Scott's mom will most likely do it.

Ouch! Poor boy. Better keep the futon off limits. :) Sad when normal things cause accidents like that! Who knew? Have fun at Lake Powell!

oh Poor guy--he looks seriously tough though! Bentley needed stitches twice within 2 weeks when he was about 18 months old. There is nothing worse than seeing your kid so hurt and stressed and confused about what's going on--so sorry you had to deal with that. Hope Westin is feeling better :)

OUCH!!! Poor Weston! My friend Brooke's litle girl split her head open a few months back. We were over there on a play date, adn Alex ran adn fell right onto the corner of the table leg, splitting her head open. It was SO gross. It was amazing watching MYSELF and my friend rise to the occasion to take care of it. The paramedics came, and had to help Brooke hahahaha she didnt look so good! Alex is fine, no more scar, and she is a beauty queen once again! I am SO happy my kids havent been INJURED like that... knock on wood!

Oh my gosh! That looks so painful. Clearly he couldn't have been jumping. ;) It's a good thing chicks dig scars! Also...I totally just had a flashback moment to when Weston was just a little guy scooching around the room on his bottom. He was so fast! I can't believe he's an actual little boy right now. When did that happen??
