Cleaning Supplies

I would love to share my find -- Kaboom Never Scrub Toilet system. It is great. You stick it in the tank of the toilet, and the water stays clean, so the toilet never gets rings. It doesn't color your water, and I think it leaves a nice clean smell (though, my husband does not like the smell. Too bad for him, cause it is a great product). I love it. You never have to clean the inside of the toilet. http://www.kaboomkaboom.com/index.m You can try them for free.

So, I want to know, what do you absolutely love to help you clean your house????? Does anyone have a Roomba? I would love one of those, but I want to know if it is good. I would also love a Dyson--anyone just love their vacuum? Other cleaning tips anyone wants to share?

My sensitive new age guy

Brennan is my sweet sensitive baby. He is startled easily and will just start crying!! The boys will try and play with him, but get too rambunctious, and he turns on the tears. But, the cutest is when someone else is crying, he cries, too! (and maybe I am just a terrible mom, but I think he is darling when he cries! Too cute to resist!) Earlier tonight, Aidan was downstairs, and I was feeding the baby upstairs--Aidan started crying, and Brennan stopped eating, looked up at me concerned, and as Aidan continued crying, Brennan got more and more sad. The bottom lip sticking farther out, and then he just broke down! I just love him!
He is getting so big-- He had his four month check up tonight (although he is almost five months!), and he weighs 14 pounds!!! That is the 50th percentile folks!!! He is HUGE!! My biggest baby!
He is doing a lot of spitting--you know the kind--"bbbbppppthhh". And he concentrates so hard when he is doing it. He is also so serious when he jumps in his jumper (we used to call them "johnny jump ups", I don't know what they are called now). (see my other post...)

We started him on solids--just rice cereal, but he LOVES it. Like I said, he is my big baby. Hopefully, he'll just put on more pounds and get nice and round!

And isn't this the cutest pair of pajamas??? I just love him in them!

I had to post this NOW!

I wish I knew how to upload video (or even get it from my camcorder to the computer...) because this is SOOO funny. I had put Brennan in his jumper while I got ready, and I could hear him jumping and jumping, so I figured he was okay--I looked over at him, and HE WAS ASLEEPP!!! But, STILL jumping! He would jump for a few seconds, then hang his head and close his eyes... then startle, and start jumping, close his eyes, etc... SOOO fun!

Good ol' Sugar City

Scott had to go to Woodbadge (poor, poor scout...) this past weekend (and this coming weekend), so I decided to take the kids up to Idaho for a few days. The trip up was realllllly nice--the baby slept the entire way, and I didn't have to stop at all!
It is so fun for the boys to visit "Omi" and "Opa" on their "goat farm"--did you Sugar girls know that??? My parents got two goats (yes, they use the milk--to drink, and the poop--to fertilize the garden...nice...) And they have chickens!!! I actually used the eggs from their chickens to make breakfast! When the second coming comes and we have to "live off the land", I want to be with them. They can provide anything they need!
(This photo is from when we visited in January)
I was bummed to miss the nice weather here in Utah, but we were still able to get out to the park and play (though the day we left it was snowing). The kids loved playing with their cousins, Beanie and Tallis (my sister Heidi now lives in my parents house--my parents live in an apartment they "built" off the back of the house). I am glad they are getting to know each other and play together! Nice to be able to live close enough to visit.

It was great to spend time with my sisters--we helped Hilary get her apartment ready for an "inspection", gave each other pedicures, and swapped clothes. Always fun to do sister stuff. I hope to get up again in the summer.

April Showers...

This morning we woke up to SNOW!!! The boys decided they weren't finished with winter and donned their snowpants and boots. Snowmen then appeared in the yard. They loved it!
The snow must have turned a switch off in my brain. We just got a new bright red tablecloth, and I wasn't thinking and put it in with all the towels. Now we need a girl cause we have BRIGHT PINK towels and bibs, etc.

General Conference

Wow! I needed that! I good kick to get me motivated and going again! I loved Elder Ballard's and Elder Nelson's talks. Good stuff.
Thanks for all the conference ideas from your blogs--and the conference packets. Here are the boys working on theirs.

It was nice to have it quiet for a few minutes... I think, though, that the ONLY way to watch conference with kids around is to have TiVo! It is the greatest thing--just pause, take care of the problem (such as a child needing to poo..., a fight about crayons, a hungry boy, a crying baby, ... the list goes on), and then start up again. It is worth the money to buy TiVo just for conference! (Though the other perks are great too--it really is a nice thing).

During the first session, I was putting on my make up, when my boys decided they would help --aren't I pretty?
Then, they put it on themselves, too! Beautiful Boys! ((I really need some girls!!!)

Summer Haircuts

Every spring I cut off the boys hair. In the fall I let it grow out. Perhaps a strange thing, but I think they are so cute both ways. Two nights ago we shaved their heads. It really makes their eyes pop and their faces shine!

Brennan, of course, doesn't need his hair cut. But he is darling anyway.
