Days 5 and 6. Review of the week

Since all work on the house comes to a screeching halt on Saturdays and Sundays I will post a review of the past week each week at this time. This was an eventful week since we broke ground, and got all the footings in this week. We also saw the beginning of the foundation prep work. We are anxious to see the foundation completed by the end of this week and are excited to then begin framing. Most of all we are anxious to get this thing done and move in.

After convincing the city that: 1) There are no ancient Indian burial grounds on our lot, 2) There are not any endangered animals or plants that reside on our lot, and 3) There are no historical site located within the bounds of our tiny piece of dirt, we finally have a permit to build. If any of you do happen to see any polar bears or any other variety of endangered species, please shoot them for us so we can keep building!!

Valentine's Day

For FHE one week this month we gave each other heart attacks and taped hearts onto each other telling why we love one another.  We also decorated cookies and shared with friends.
